A Note from Jen...
Two weeks and a new little one... a girl no less... will be in our family! Our boys keep fighting over who they think this picture looks like… Wild how they can do these new ultrasounds, right??
People keep asking me if I’m ready. Basically, the answer is … Sure, as ready as I can be with 3 baseball schedules, 11 more campaign events (my husband is running for Commissioner in our town – the election is two days before I give birth), and 15 more 1-on-1’s with my team here at LS in the next two weeks… Truly, I don’t think it will hit me until we’re driving to the hospital the morning of the 14th!
On the proactive side, the room has been painted – yes, we have added some pink to our house J and I have mentally prepared for my 8 week “sleep patterning” goal. My friends laugh, but I am of the mentality that a mom who sleeps makes for a happy house! So far my twins were sleeping 8 to 8 by 9 weeks and my other 2 sons by 8 weeks. I’ve tested my theory with solely nursing, alternating breast and bottle and nursing with one bottle a day. Now I just have to apply it to a different genderJ. I am ready for the challenge!

ised to see me – I’m planning to be in until 3 on the 13th. I’m going to “wing” when I’ll be back in, as I’m doing a 3-in-1… c-section, tubes tied (I offered to donate my uterus at this point, but they declined ;) ) and a hernia repair; but more than likely I’ll be back in a just a few weeks. For now.... have a great May!
